Onassis TN x O’Neil vd Bisschop x Harley VDL x Calvados x Voltaire x Farn

Sire Onassis TN is the talented 7-year-old son of Grandorado TN. He recently made his international debut with Melvin Greveling. His balance and exceptional canter, combined with his technique, carefulness and extraordinary scope, suggest that he has everything it takes to develop into an outstanding 5* show jumper on the international stage.

The damsire O’Neil van de Bisschop was already competing at 1.45m level at the age of eight with Mario Deslauriers (CAN). With a win and several placings in Wellington, Florida and at Spruce Meadows, he was building an impressive career when a serious injury suddenly brought it to an end.

O’Neil’s quality came from a remarkable dam line. His sire is Diamant de Semilly, while his dam is Jade vd Bisschop, ridden by Pieter Devos. Jade vd Bisschop achieved victories in Chantilly, Shanghai and Barcelona, among others, and earned nearly €500,000 in prize money. Her half-sister Secret Love Wonderland has also produced numerous successful sport horses, including Estina (Samantha McIntosh), Holland, Dulf and Olivia vd Bisschop.

The dam Owilma Z, only five years old herself, is the maternal half-sister of none other than Jarina J, the 1.60m Grand Prix winner ridden by Pieter Devos. Jarina J won the Grand Prix of Amsterdam and Vienna (AUT), finished second in Oslo (NOR), and took third place in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Cannes (FRA), among other top results.

The third dam, Reilma D, also produced a 1.60m Grand Prix horse: Everest D (Warrant), ridden by Karina Hovland (NOR). They achieved multiple Grand Prix placings, particularly on the Scandinavian circuit.

Reilma D also produced the 1.40m horses Zilma D (Berlin) and Havelly D (Whitaker), and is the granddam of Grand Cooper (Lord Z), a 1.50m horse ridden by Pius Schwizer (SUI).

The fourth dam, Wilma (Farn), is particularly renowned as the granddam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Orchidee (Kojak), ridden by Steve Guerdat, and Lucnaor (Burggraaf), ridden by Gabor Grundtner (HUN). They won the World Cup competition in Kiskunhalas (HUN), finished second in the Grand Prix of Prague (CZE), and took second place in the Nations Cup in Budapest (HUN).
