Sire Sunday JM is a son of Ermitage Kalone out of the Holstein mare Unschuld (Chicago Z × Concerto II), who has already produced several international showjumpers competing at the highest level, including Cashpaid J&F and Cordial.
At the age of eight, Sunday JM is demonstrating his exceptional jumping ability with Jeroen de Winter, competing at 1.40 m level. He was also a very eye-catching stallion in the Belgian Young Horse Stallion Competition as a six- and seven-year-old. Over and over again, he showed his rideability, technique and seemingly effortless jumping ability.
His sire is none other than Ermitage Kalone, ridden by Gilles Thomas — a legend in the making!
Sarena’s dam, Garena MB, has an exceptionally strong pedigree, with Andiamo Z, Almox Prints J and Renville appearing consecutively in her dam line — three stallions who have all competed at 1.60 m level.
Garena MB herself demonstrates emormous quality and scope. Unfortunately, an injury prevented her from having a successful sport career, but she is already beginning to prove her genetic value in breeding. Her son O-Hareno (Harry), ridden by Ann-Sofie Oscarsson, is an eye-catching showjumper among the seven-year-olds in Sweden.
Her younger offspring also appear to possess the same qualities and are currently being developed at showjumping yards in the Netherlands, the UK, Poland and the Czech Republic.
The granddam, Pavillio Z, was herself a true winner at 1.30 m level and produced the international showjumpers Cirena II Z and Darena MB. She is also the granddam of the international CCI3-S eventer Iesyrena MB*, the 2* Grand Prix showjumper Nereno Z, approved sport stallion Eldorenus Z, and Narena Z, with whom Jean Alexandre Legras is competing internationally at 1.50 m level.
The third dam, Haleska, had a successful career with numerous wins at 1.40 m level. She is also the dam of Kevin, a Grand Prix 1.60 m showjumper.
The fourth dam, Urena, produced not only Haleska, but also Mr ITT, who competed at Grand Prix 1.60 m level, and Dorena II, successful at 1.50 m level.
